What is “My Swap”?
My SWAP is a place where you would upload and store all items that you wish to swap. Other members can search for your items from the search bar, and if they are interested in swapping items with you, create a market, and drag items from your “My Swap” list into the market. It is very important that you describe the item in detail, so there will not be any misunderstandings.
What is “Collection”?
The Collection system is different than My SWAP. The Collection system is a place for you to share your personal fascinating collectibles with others. You do not upload items you wish to swap here in the collection system. The collection system can allow you to show off your collections and also find people that share the same interests. You can also use the Collection system to find out what your friends are passionate about and spark conversations. It is designed to bring people closer and get to know each other on a deeper level.
What is “Wish List”?
The purpose of the Wish List is very similar with the Collection system. It is a place where you can tell people what you really list and wish to have. It is also a place you can find out what gift to give for your friends on their birthday, graduation parties, wedding, and Christmas…etc. It is also designed to help bring people closer together and get to know them better and deeper.
How do I upload an item to My Swap/Collection/Wish List
To upload an item, just click on “Upload”. You will need to enter detailed information about the item, describe the condition, and provide some photos. You will be required to select a main category and secondary category for every item. You will be given the choices of adding the item to My Swap, Collection, or Wish List. You can only choose to put the item in one section.
How many photos can I upload for one item
You can have up to three photos for each item.
How do I edit an item?
To edit an item, you can go to “Upload”>Edit My Swap (or Collection/Wish List)>. Select the category where you put the item in to find the item. You will see the detailed information about the item. Make sure you click “Change” to save the changes.
How do I remove an item?
To remove an item, go to “Upload”>Edit My Swap (or Collection/Wish List)>. Select the category where you put the item in to find the item. Select an item or multiple items you wish to remove, click “Delete selected items” on the top-right hand corner to remove from your list.
Can I change the order of photos for an item?
No. You may not change the order of photos. However, you will be able to choose any photo to be the main photo for the thumbnail icon.
Do I have to put a “keyword” for an item?
No. You are not required to enter keywords for your items. However, we strongly recommend that you put some keywords to increase the chances of people seeing your items.
What if I don’t know the “Sentimental Value”?
You are not required to enter a sentimental value. It is an optional feature for all members to better evaluate for a fair trade.
What is “Reference Link” for?
The Reference link is designed to be used only for the Wish List. For instance, if you find something you really like and are not likely to get an image of that item, you can use the reference link to let people know.
Can I post one item in multiple categories?
No. Each item can only be posted in one category, unless you want to create another item profile in another category.
What if I don’t see the category for my item?
If you do not see the category for your item, please select “All Others”. You may also click here to suggest a new category.
