Cooffer was founded in San Francisco. The main goal of Cooffer is to create an online platform to bring people around the world together in order to share and SWAP their personal belongings.

Furthermore, we are hoping that everyone can make new friends with those who share the same hobbies through this website. We are also hoping to REDUCE wasted resources and save money by utilizing functions of this website.

In the end, resources are limited, money is never enough, but friends are forever

1. Upload photos:
Upload photos of items you wish to swap with other members, and edit the information on these items. You may edit those items in MY SWAP

2. Drag items into market:
To create a new market, simply select and drag items from the other member’s swap item list into a market, then select the items from your swap.

3. Send request:
Once you’ve confirmed all the items you wish to swap, you may click the “Send swap” icon to send your request and wait for the other member to confirm. Please note, you may not make changes to the market after your request has been sent.

4. Receive confirmation. Market Accepted:
The other member may disagree and make changes on the market you’ve requested. If so, simply accept or make more changes until you both AGREE on the deal.  Once the other member confirms and accepts your request on this market, you may move on to the next step.

5. Delivery:
Contact the other member for further instructions on your delivery method on the items you’ve agree to swap. You may the goods by preferred postal services

It is very important to enjoy your swap experiences safely. Please remember before you swap an item on Cooffer, you should always have all of your questions about the item answered from the other party. Here are some safety tips for you.

1. Start trading goods with members near by where you are, such as neighbors, colleagues, classmates or personal friends.

2. If you choose to ship the goods through preferred postal services, we recommend members using the tracking number system provided by the postal companies. If you find any problems with the products or any suspicious members, you should report the incident to us as soon as possible.

3. If you choose to exchange the goods in person, members will be responsible for your own safety. We strongly recommend members to meet at public spaces, or places you are familiar with. If possible, always bring a friend with you for your own safety. Under-age members please must have adults going with you at all times.

Your password must be combination of numbers and letters; no funky characters or spaces are allowed. Both usernames and passwords are case-sensitive, please be careful.

Each valid email address is only allowed to sign up for ONE account.
